I just wanted to let you know that everything that I planted this spring and summer is alive and well. The trees I planted a few weeks ago are also doing very well. My wife who was skeptical at first concerning the Giant Sequoias has grown quite fond of them. Each one is unique, in shape, growth habit, and color. The redwoods are also doing very well, the seedling that I planted in the spring grew 3 ft up and 2 ft out in spread in the first year, the Soquel redwood grew about a foot up and about a foot and a half out. Hi from Texas!! I just received three redwood seedlings from you, and wanted to give you some positive feedback!! wow! I was amazed to see how green, healthy, and vibrant they were when I took them out of their shipping container. I took them out, immediately placed them in the Texas sunshine (it was in the 60s, later got up into the 70s), and immediately gave them some water from my rain bucket 11/09
Thank you for your outstanding trees! They arrived in excellent condition.We put them in pots until we had time to prepare their planting holes, and shaded them during the hottest hours of the day. These had such healthy roots, and the roots started growing right away. They have now been in the ground for 4 weeks and are doing very well. You sent very healthy stock, well packaged and ready to plant. We especially appreciated all the instructions so we wouldn't kill them with too much fertilizer or too little water. Sequoia #1692 arrived in perfect shape. Tree # 1670 purchased earlier is full of new growth.(I repotted VERY carefully and the tree responded with a half dozen new branches). Both trees will be planted in April in Hancock NY not far from the Delaware river. I will follow up with some pictures as they mature.

I received the giant sequoia in the mail last week and the tree was very healthy and the soil and root ball were still damp -very good job on shipping. Thank you for the detailed information on planting and care for the tree (both online and in the instructions provided with the tree). Last year I lost a two year old sequoia I had in a pot and after I read your information I am almost positive it was from dehydration. I received the most beautiful tree I ever laid eyes just about a week ago. I was just wondering how old item #1157 is. That way when it gets real big we can know for sure how old it is. Also I would like to compliment you on how nice the tree arrived. Best plant I ever bought from any nursery. Joe: Just wanted to say how happy I am with the landscape size Sequoia purchased recently. Special thanks to your packer, it arrived in perfect condition, not so much as a broken branch tip.Given the size and quality of the sapling this is a great bargain for $37. including shipping. Hi, I bought a giant sequoia from you last year and it's doing great. I watered it faithfully all summer, about two gallons twice a day. The last time I measured, it was 48" tall. I'm going to buy another one from you when the ground warms up next spring. Should I use some fertlizer or plant food to help it grow. We have good black soil here (in Nebraska) but I want to make sure it has everything it needs. I want to buy another one as soon as the ground warms up next year. Thanks Kurt
